Le jeu des nouvelles familles: de nouvelles molécules autorisées sur céréales, tournesol et pois, et d’autres recevables : en quoi c’est nouveau
Fin avril 1997, 17 dossiers concernant des demandes d’autorisation de mise en marché de substances actives phytosanitaires ont été considérés comme recevables par l’Union Européenne. Deux de ces molécules ont récemment bénéficié d’autorisations provisoires de vente en France: l’herbicide flurtamone sur tournesol et pois et le fongicide quinoxyfen sur céréales- Les autres substances actives sont quatre fongicides, six herbicides, deux insecticides, un nématicide et deux régulateurs de croissance Parmi les fongicides, les deux strobilurines kresoxim-méthyl et azoxystrobine (nouvelle famille chimique au mode d’action inédit en France), et la spiroxamine (nouvelle famille des spirokétalamines) font l’objet de demandes d’autorisation en France. At the end of April 1997, 17 applications for authorisation for the marketing of active plant protection substances were considered admissible by the European Union. Two of these molecules have recently been granted a provisional authorisation in France : flurtamone, a herbicide for sunflower and pulse crops, and quinoxyfen, a fungicide for cereals. The other active substances were four fungicides, 6 herbicides, two insecticides, one nematicide and two growth regulators. In the fungicide group, two strobilurins ( a new chemical family with a mode of action entirely new to France) called methyl-kresoxim and azoxystrobin, and one spiroketalmin (a new chemical family) called spiroxamin are awaiting authorisation in France. The herbicide group includes ethyl-carfentrazone (a new triazolinon family with a new mode of action), and isoxaflutol ( a new isoxazol family), both of which are currently awaiting authorisation in France, and also fluthiamide (an oxyacetamide) and prosulfuron (a sulphonylure). Finally, a brand-new bio-insecticide, based on Paecilomynces fumosoroseus, is also currently awaiting authorisation, as are fosthiasate, an organophosphorous nematicide and calcium-prohexadion, a growth regulator of the cycloheanetrion family.
