L’ACÉTOCHLORE, Herbicide maïs en formulation microencapsulée avec un phyto-protecteur
L’acétochlore, nouvelle matière active du groupe des chloracétamides, vient d’être autorisée en France pour le désherbage du maïs dans une formulation innovante associant sous forme microencapsulée la matière active et le phyto-protecteur dichlormid. Les caractéristiques toxicologiques, écotoxicologiques, l’excellente sélectivité, la flexibilité d’emploi et le vaste spectre herbicide sur graminées et dicotylédones annuelles ici décrits permettent d’augurer de nouveaux progrès pour le désherbage précoce de la culture, tout en proposant une sécurité accrue pour les eaux de surfaces et souterraines. Acetochlor, a new chloracetamide herbicide, just received a clearance in France for the weed control on maize under the trademark Trophée. It takes its full interest through Zeneca technology of microencapsulation and by adding the safener dichlormid. This innovative formulation presents interesting qualities (tox and ecotox), a high level of safety to the crop, a very good flexibility and a wide herbicide spectrum on the main annual grasses and broad-leaved weeds. These properties allow to imagine new herbicide strategies able to improve reliability of prem treatments and the quality of surface and ground water.
